About C.R.S

If I had to sum myself up into a quote, it would be, "Jack of all trades, master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."

It's also hard to describe yourself without labels. So, let's begin with that. I am a mom of one, a wife, a writer, a substitute teacher, and hold certifications as a personal trainer, and a wellness, nutrition, and life coach. I've done my fair share of multi-leveling marketing businesses; however, I realized I'm a horrible salesperson. When I get a craving for conventions, I'll find myself with my books, tarot, and art mingling with the public.

I began writing poems after I had my daughter. I spent time developing some of the ideas I'd had in my head my entire life. Writing became an outlet for me when I started my therapy for my anxiety and PTSD. And a few years later, after I thought I had all my ducks in a row, I found myself once again turning to the art of words. Which only seems fitting given my love language is words of affirmation. One of my favorite quotes of all times is from Nathaniel Hawthorne, "Words -- so innocent and powerless as they are, as standing in a dictionary, how potent for good and evil they become in the hands of one who knows how to combine them."

Inkwell Studios is my sanctuary. For all things creative. Though I will be using this as a personal blog, it'll also house my poems and short stories. I hope you enjoy.
